Saturation on second monitor in slideshow

Can some-one with two monitors please try this :

If I run a slideshow, from the slideshow tab, and the slidehow is setup to show on second screen (Playback Screen), all the images that display have their saturation turned up quite a bit. This only happens when I press the play button, and only on the second screen. Everything is fine if I just preview.

I am running LR 2.' from a mac. I can't find any configuration setting that controls this.

Hi Leon. I can't replicate it, but you could try. Move Lightroom itself onto the 2nd screen and see if that also shows the higher saturated preview. I'm wondering if that monitor profile's corrupted, or possibly just a limitation of the screen quality, depending on the screens you're using.

If that doesn't do the trick, and you post a screenshot of both screens?

What seems to happen is that Lightroom is not reading the second screens calibration when running the slide show. It always does except when running the slide show.
The first pic screen not in slide show, the second in slide show, both from the second screen. I have just resized the images for the upload.

Both screens are calibrated with "eye-one", the second screen is hp w24'8h.

I am pretty sure this is what is happening. If I move a window from my mac to the 2nd screen the colours appear to be over saturated until I release the mouse after which lightroom applies the screen's profile and the colors turn the same as on the mac desktop. It just doesn't happen when running the slideshow, the slideshow seems not to pick up the calibration. The reason others may not see this is that the difference between the standard screen profile and the calibrated profile could be small, which will make it hard to see. The difference on mine is significant, it actually took me some time to calibrate the two screens to have a very similar color profile.

I would feel better though if some-one could confirm this behavior. In my mind it's just a small bug in the LR.

Leon,

I see from your first message that you are running LR 2.'. Have you tried this w/ 2.1? Might be worth a shot as several strange bugs were fixed in 2.1. It would also be of interest to Adobe when you do a bug report if you could report on whether it's 2.' only, or both versions. Good luck,
