I have been editing a client gallery with the same Lightroom presets I have used for several years. This session has been incredibly difficult, which is very unusual. After a huge amount of frustration I thought to try editing the session on my MacBook, and the images are totally different. My MacBook is newer and has a different color profile, not sure if it's my Mac, or maybe a setting in Lightroom. The image below is comparing my MacBook to my Mac. It's hard to see the difference, but the top is much more magenta than the bottom. The same preset is selected on both, everything is matching. If there are any settings I can check in Lightroom, please let me know! Thank you.

One question I have is the monitor colour calibration on both and how they may differ in how much they cover the different colour gamets

It is not unusual for different monitors to vary in tone even if both are calibrated with a Colorimter. What Monitor is used with the Mac? Is the MBP new enough to to have an XDR display? I have two identical ASUS 32" HDR 1000 nit monitors calibrated independently using a Spyder X2. The same image viewed in LrC on the primary display and secondary display show slight differences. On a third SDR monitor the differences are even more noticable .
