How can I revert to an older version of Lightroom? I currently have version 8.5.I want to go back to the previous version. Thanks!

Open the Creative Cloud app manager to the Apps section. In the right panel choose Lightroom and click on the elipsis (...) to expose the context menu From that menu choose "Other versions." From the dialog that opens choose "Uninstall" to uninstall your currently installed version. The choose "Install" to install the version that you want to install.

The current version is 9.0. Which has the latest features and bug fixes. Unless there is some significant bug, there is littel reasin to retrograde.

The Next part I do not have an answer. It is possible that your current version has made changes to the library "Lightroom Library.lrlibrary". that would make it no longer compatible with the older version of the app. In case that occurs, you can delete "Lightroom Library.lrlibrary" and the app will rebuild it from the data in the cloud.

Why do you think it is necessary to revert to an older version of the app?
