revert lightroom to default settings

hello all and thank you for existing
I am an old painter and Art historian who made the transition to digital rather recently
bought a plan Lightroom from Adobe and immediately got stuck
upper left corner displace only file //photo//view//help
on the right side there is only one column , on the left side nothing
library , etc , the develop module and all are not displayed
I tried shift and alt and only on the left side appeared a column , rather poor in choices

please help

raw photos displayed in the main window , but no film strip and the other way 'round
 
Still sounds like disclosure triangles (there's one in the middle of all four sides) - or post a screenshot so we can see what you mean.

I just downloaded the FAQs book and it is rather a big task to begin to read it and hopefully understand it

I plead guilty of abuse, but this is all I see is in this print screen
as Admin your time and patience are limited , but maybe you can enlighten me further

You've opened the Cloud version of Lightroom (called Lightroom Desktop).

Lightroom Classic is the one that has the icon 'LrC' on the CC App.

thank you most kindly for your help
alas , it took me many hours to find out the whys
it's 2.22 AM my time and I've discovered that this laptop that my wife bought a while ago
it has only 4 Gb RAM , instead the 8 we've paid for
Lightroom does not like les than 8 GB
