Problem with clone tool size

Sometimes when I selct the clone tool, my brush appears on the photo only when I hover over the brush size slider. If I move my cursor off the slider, the cursor disapears and I have no idea where to place the brush center. Once I click somewhere (anywhere) on the photo the brush appears exactly where I clicked. From that point on it behaves normally.

Weird bug Ken!

You could try the troubleshooting steps here: http://www.lightroomqueen.com/community/showthread.php?t=1645 - particularly deleting/moving the preferences file may fix that.

Thanks, Victoria. I tried all of the suggestions but without making any difference in the way the tool behaves. Did find a simple work-around; click either one of the brackets before entering the pin and the brush cursor appears. It then works quite normally.

That should be fixed in the final release Ken - let us know if it isn't, or put in a bug report. Official Feature Request/Bug Report Form
