Develop module Repair tool doesn't work anymore after 12.1 update

Hi there,
after the update to 12.1 today the repair tool doesn't work anymore. I tried all 3 variations, none of them works. Does anyone have an idea how to fix that?

I just figured out, it might have been a mask disturbing the repair tool. Initially I masked the sky and later I tried to remove the small branches of the tree. Now I removed the mask and tried again. It worked as usual.
I'm not sure, if it was always like this, but I don't think. Usually I applied the mask first and later I removed disturbing stuff.
At least it works, maybe just in another way.
