Renaming problem...again

Can't rename a folder from within Lightroom..

And once the folder has been opened in Lightroom, I can't rename it in explorer even if I close Lightroom...Lightroom must place some reference in the cache that causes Vista to think the folder is still in use..

Renaming seems to somehow be disabled... Even after a restart, I can't rename a folder from within LR.

Likewise, creating a new folder, and including selected images, or subsequently moving images to a another folder within LR, doesn't seem to work either..

I don't have that problem. I am running Mac OS X. Perhaps a Windows issue?

Michael, working fine for me on XPSP3.

I simply right-clicked the folder name in the LHP folder browser and typed in a new name.

See attached, this folder was named '2''4' five minutes ago .... and now it's back.

(Maybe Vista is different)

Works for me in XP/SP3 as well. Maybe it's a Vista permissions thing?
