Renaming folders...still a problem.

Has anyone figured out a work around for renaming folders in LR? It's a pain to rename in Explorer and the reconnect LR to the folder and renaming in LR fails nearly every time. Odd that such a simple task would be such an issue..

Are you renaming them in bulk or one by one? I have to rename every folder on import with a short custom code and simply right click and choose Rename. But I'm guessing that's not your issue.

I import and assign just the data format. Once I sort the images, which typically are on just that date since I don't leave images on the card, I right click the folder and Rename... but the Rename fails nearly every time..unless I restart the PC. Same happens with Rename images...

That would suggest something else is hanging on to them Michael. Virus protection, something like that?

Ditto. Not sure if there are any other WIN users out there with the same problem perhaps?
