Renaming a folder

Perhaps an old observation, but I'm new to LR via LR3beta.

Running the Windows version, when I rename a folder in LR, the pictures disappear within that folder until I restart the program. Surely the developers don't mean for LR to behave this way, do they?

Hi sperho, welcome to the forum!

Don't worry, that's a bug. They'll reappear when you restart. Just be careful using that beta as it's an early build and there are some pretty sizeable bugs.

Thanks Victoria. Is there a listing of the most sizeable bugs? Are there any file loss or near file-loss magnitude bugs... I've wandered various forums but to find such compendia is nearly impossible. It's like drinking from a fire house out there!

I have not seen a list but another good source for information on this is the Adobe forum devoted to LR3 Beta at http://forums.adobe.com/community/labs/lightroom3
