Was playing and experimenting with different Identity Plates in LR print panel. Now I have many needless ones, but can't remove them from the list. The alternative "Remove" in the
Identity Plate Editor is greyed out. How should it work?
I also tried to find where LR saves them (to remove them in OS) but could not find them.
So, how can I remove Identity plates?

Graphical Identity Plates reside where ever they were when you dragged them into the ID Plate Setup dialog. They stay where they were.

Your Remove won't become active unless you save a current ID plate and give it a name with the save as option. Then it will appear on the drop down menu below Custom but above Save As and Remove. Once you have a saved ID plate in the list it will activate the Remove option. You can then select an ID plate from the list to make it active and then click the Remove and it will go bye-bye.

As to where it is stored, I am not quite sure.

Thanks for answering. I have named and saved many, and can see them in the list by their names, but still cannot delete them ("Remove" still inactive)

I just tested removing a Styled Text Plate and was able to do so. The ID Plate to be removed must be selected in the pull down before Remove becomes active. I tested with Graphical ID Plates only, Text Only and a Mixture in the pull down. Note: By default, upon entering the Edit ID Plate Dialog, the Custom section is preselected automatically. It cannot be removed. I can select a text plate and kill it no problem. (Vista System-not XP though)

Finally I figured it out! It doesn't work from Print panels Overlay section's edit- panel, but works all right
from LR main menu's Edit/Identity Plate Setup- menu.
Thank you all.
