Removing cache files

Is it OK to remove cache files? I have about 30. bob LR 4.3

Thanks for reply. I recounted 177 cache files . They are in the Catalog folder cache 00000000199.Dat yesterday 295kb mac w...umnet. I hope this is enough info. bigbob

It's fine, they'll just rebuild next time you look at some photos. You control the size of that folder in the Preferences dialog. It holds partially processed data to make Develop quicker.
