Hello. I am currently using LR Classic version 9.3 on a Mojave Mac.
In my catalog I have discovered about a thousand duplicate files. These files are from two sub-folders. each with a different name, and have both been imported to my main catalog.
Both sets have the same keywords and seem to be identical.
Is there an easy way to remove one of the folders from the catalog so that only one of each image remains?
Kind regards

Right-click on the folder in the folder panel and choose ‘Remove Folder’.

The best safest way is not on the folder panel. You need to remove images as an image or as a group of images. Used the Reject (X) option to reject the duplicate images. Then you can remove the rejected images using the menu item {Photo}{Deleted Rejsected Photos}. You will get a choice to either remove the images from the catalog file or Delete the images from disk while removing them from the catalog file.

If you have a folder remaining in the folder panel showing zero images, you can then remove that folder from the folder panel.
