Hi- I have been using the subscription version of LR for more than two years - this issue developed yesterday.

On importing a raw unedited image from the hard drive the image in the library module has the same white balance as the image viewed outside LR but when switching to the develop module the same image has a red cast. I'd appreciate any ideas. Nick

"the library module has the same white balance as the image viewed outside LR but when switching to the develop module the same image has a red cast."

Windows has a nasty habit of changing the color profile assigned to your display, and LR Library uses different code than Develop to interpret profiles. Quickly test whether the current profile is causing the problem:

Another factor is that in the Library module you're not looking at a "raw unedited image", you're looking at the jpeg preview that the camera has produced and embedded into the raw file, i.e. the original raw file has been edited in camera, using the camera maker's raw converter and your in-camera settings to produce the jpeg. In Develop module you're looking at the raw file converted using Adobe's raw converter, which will often be different.
