Recovery Tool causes odd color shift...?

In LR 2 I've been getting on odd color shift when using the recovery tool. The image will shift to a peach color tone. When I used to use LR1.4 the image stayed fairly true to what it was before adding the recovery adjustment...

Has anyone else noticed this?

This has been the case for me in LR2 to the current 2.2...

I don't see this at all.
What type of images?? Subject, etc......

Straus, welcome to the forums.

This has been reported, especially when starting from a camera-matching profile, as opposed to Adobe Standard. Since the profiles were added post 1.x, that would be the difference.

On the other hand this is to be expected, if you've got all 3 color channels clipping in the affected area. Recovery is intended to work with at least one unclipped channel.

I strongly doubt it will be changed before the next major release. If it's a major pain for you, please make your thoughts known with a bug report/feature request.

As Geoff says, system and photo gear details are helpful for potential thread responders.
