Recovering Removed Images

Twice now, I have accidentally removed all the images from a folder. I intended to remove the one I was looking at and didn't realize that I had all images selected. It hasn't been a problem because the images were removed and not deleted from the disk but it seems like a disaster in the making. If I do this again (and, I'm sure I will), is there any way to recover the images, and the settings I've made to them, without re-importing them?

Undo works if you do it fairly soon.

If you realize it almost imidiately just do Ctl?cmd-Z undo to reverse the action. THis should work as long as you have not shut down LR OR gone more than a few moves past that point at which you removed the images.

Just do it a few times till the screens says what you want to see!

I tried that and it didn't work. The good news is that when I re-imported the images, the changes were still there.

I'm just thankful (it is Thanksgiving, after all) that I didn't select "remove from disk".
