I have 16 photos in the gallery and I am using the paper white template, and the way that has been described by a couple of sources to move images is to click and hold on a photo and drag it over to the position you want it in. I keep getting a circle with a slash through it. Could someone please tell me how to rearrange the images so that I can finally finish this gallery. Thanks

I think you need to rearrange the images in Library Grid view, before switching to Web module. What LR version, etc.?

Make sure that User Order is selected as the Sort Order, and when dragging and dropping, grab the thumbnail image and not the gray frame.

BTW, just noticed it's your first post, Welcome to LR Forums.

If you put the 16 images in a Collection this will be 'no sweat'. The COllection will even remember your web settings.

Hey Brad thanks for the quick reply, but in the Library mode, I finally found the Sort, and User Sort is grayed out and not avilable. Thanks for the welcome and any further assistance is GREATLY appreciated.

You can only apply User Sort if the view you're using (folder or collection) has no subfolders (subcollections.) If that's not the case, then the User Sort choice will be grayed out.

Try Don's recommendation, create a collection, add the photo's to it, and you should be able to User Sort. Plus, as Don also says, the collection automagically remember the applicable Web module settings.

I just verified all that, and it works as advertised.
