re entering serial numbers each time LR opened

Every time I start up LR I have to re-enter the serial number and etc. I would much appreciate any info on how to get around this. Thanks

I took a look at Steve's profile and it see,s that his signature just hasn't propagated through the LRForums server? Steve also may have updated this after your recommendation as well:cheesy:

Thanks for responding Geoff. I updated my user CP as you suggested. I havn't been using lightroom for long but I am pretty sure I did not have the problem earlier. It may have begun after I downloaded the latest MAC OS, within the last few days.

Actually it is… a quite common problem Geoff ;-).
I have seen it about five times before and have offered this working solution on the adobe utu forums before.

----

Delete the file "Lightroom 1.' Registration" in the following places:

~:Library:Application Support:Adobe:Lightroom:
(~ = your home folder).

and

Library:Application Support:Adobe:Lightroom:
(The library-folder att the root of your harddrive).

If you only have that file in one place. Just delet that one.
Restart LR and register again.

It worked. Thanks for the fix guys.
I did look around for a solution to this prior to posting but wasn't able to see anything - maybe just due to my being new to LR and the forum. Anyway, thanks again
