Can't Access Newly Downloaded Files From LR??

Greetings. I downloaded 44 files from a shoot, when I try to import them to LR, the folder appears to be empty. I know the files are there, as when I access them via my Pictures folder, they are there.

anybody know what's up with this? I've not encountered this problem previously.

OK - for some strange reason, now I find them. Only took about five different tries. Weird. All's well that ends well. Thanks.
