Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing two issues in Lightroom Classic (LrC) that occur randomly with some images, and I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered the same problems:

  1. Rotation reversed by LrC:
    • I'm scanning artwork images, and some require rotation by 90º, either clockwise or counterclockwise.
    • Occasionally, after rotating an image, LrC will undo the rotation a couple of seconds later.
    • Repeating the rotation results in the same behaviour, with LrC reverting the rotation.
  2. Metadata removed by LrC:
    • I enter data in the "Title" and "Caption" fields.
    • Sometimes, after entering the data, LrC will empty both fields almost immediately.
    • Re-entering the data usually solves the issue for that image.
I suspect these issues might be related to syncing. Since pausing syncing, neither issue has occurred.

Has anyone else experienced these problems? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Carlos

I'd bet they're due to syncing too. Are they in synced collections? Or just in All Synced Photos? Removing them from sync, allowing sync to complete and then adding them again might do the trick, although I'm hopeful that these issues might be fixed by the 13.5 release.
