Question on setting up RAW to DNG import LR2.3

HI,

I just got LR 2.3 and I have moved all of my RAW files to an external CalDigit VR eSATA drive set to RAID 1. All of the folders are set up with the taxonomy I would like to preserve ID Top LR Images / G9 with all the subfolders in chronological order titled by subject and G1' the same.

If I want LR2.3 toconvert these RAW images ti DBNG on import and put them back on the external with the same filder setup how would I do it? :roll: I also have all of the same RAW files on another drive in exactly the same order.

It may be simpler to import to Lr as raw, and then post-convert from the Lr menu.

Also, look at the standalone DNG converter found here.

Whatever you do, I suggest some small scale trials, and incremental conversion.
