Hello

I am new to LR2 and have a question when moving files on LR2 from one folder to another one on my external backup hard disk.

LR2 shows a warning with this text:
"This will cause the corresponding files on disk to be moved. If you proceed, neither this move nor any change you've made prior to this can be undone".

What exactly does this mean? What changes can not be undone? The changes in the Develop module? I found that this was possible.

Can someone please explain what this message means? I couldn't find this in my book (the one by Martin Evening).

It means on doing the move in LR Ctl/Cmd-z will not undo it. You can alway move it back, but an 'Undo' wont work.
