I edited a photo; didn't really like the results. I set the photo back to its unedited state, created a virtual copy, returned the photo back to its edited state, and then edited the VC.

Now, I like the edited Virtual Copy better, and don't even care to keep my edited original (of course, I want to keep the original, just not the edited original).

Can I move the edits (and history) from the VC to the original, then delete the VC? If so, how?

Brad is right, however, your above process could be simpler.

You could have simply created a VC from the Master in it's edited state then hit Reset on the VC to start from scratch on the VC, and without affecting the Master. Or on the Master create a Snapshot of the edited state before hitting Reset, or clicking the 'default' Snapshot called 'Import', and then working away on re-editing it. Snapshots are common to the Master and all VCs and I find are extremely useful, like an on-the-fly notepad.
