Anyone having trouble with Qimage not reading corrections made to DNG files in LR?

Denis, just asking on behalf of a PC user from another forum who says this: "Reads the edits in the previews, thumb nails, but not in the edit window and does not print with the edits, any ideas?."
I would think that all the information would be accessible in other programmes if Adobe want DNG to be a defacto standard.

AFAIK edits to raw files (including dng raws) when the edits are saved to xmp are 1''% readable by ACR 4.x in PS CS3 or PS Elements 5+ (4+in Mac). Otherwise edits in LR are only readable in LR.

You will have to export from LR to make the adjustments available to other programs or use the edit in function, PS CS or other editing program choice, in which case the edits are saved to TIFF or PSD as selected.

Never use this future but here info found from QImage site:
Raw Support in Qimage
Qimage uses a version of dcraw by David Coffin, ported by Davie Lee Reed. Please note that only the Studio Edition supports raw formats and raw support has been discontinued in the Lite/Pro editions as of v2''7.2''. The current Studio Edition supports the following cameras. Note that support for these cameras is dependent on dcraw so we do not control raw features/quality. We strive to keep Qimage updated with the latest version of dcraw, but be aware that there may be some lag between the release of the latest dcraw and its inclusion in Qimage.

Yes Qimage Studio provides raw support using DCRAW, that does not mean it can read edits done by LR.
The point is LR does not make changes to the raw file it stores this info in a xmp file or in the dng if so requested. The only other raw converter that can apply this info to do a conversion is ACR 4.x. Even the earlier versions of ACR 3.x and 2.x are not compatable and they can certainly read dng files.
There is the following in the dialog box where "auto write changes into xmp" is applied in Lightroom.
Warning: Changes made in Lightroom will not automatically be visable in other applications.

QImage and other 3. part application could use the DNG preview? Then you get the LR conversation...
