I'm a classic Lightroom user and use my older iPhone shooting with the Lightroom App and using Cloud Sync to upload the images I shoot. Then download and process them locally on my computer.

I'm considering a new iPhone 14 Pro and was wondering if people are using the native Apple RAW (if that's what they are) files or shooting with the Lightroom App and processing within Lightroom.

Thanks,
Kevin

I have the iPhone 13 and my AppleRAW files sync just fine when synced through Lightroom (mobile). AppleRAW is a variant of the DNG file specification.
Thanks for the reply Cletus. Do you have a specific folder setup on your iPhone for those AppleRAW images to sync through the LR iPhone app? That's one reason I like the LR iPhone app is it doesn't catch all the junk that I shoot with the camera. I'm also wondering about the inability for the LR iPhone app to utilize the full 48MP sensor and producing the same 12MP image I'm getting today.

I import my NEFs (Nikon RAW) into Lightroom Mobile and (try) to use only the Camera accessed through Lightroom when I use the phone to capture photos. I have designated an Album in Lightroom as auto import from camera roll for any photo shot for the Photos app.
