Problems with trying to publish to the web

Hi,

I know how to connect to my website as Dreamweaver is working fine.
I copied the settings to LR but it always times out. I know that it is trying to log in because if I change the log in to a wrong one it pops up and says so.

Any pointers please?

What hosting provider are you using and what error are you getting? There are reported problems with Godaddy.com that I have experienced.

The workaround is to export your gallery and upload the exported gallery using an FTP client.

I have a virtual dedicated host with 1and1.
If I have to go the separate route then I will. Thanks for that as it hadn't even crossed my mind.

The error message was a timeout message.

To add one more data point, I've had things choke up when trying to upload multiple large slide shows with hundreds of images to my

GoDaddy​

website via LR2; however, when I update one gallery with 25 or 4' slides, I can do so directly from LR2 without any problems.
