I've had problems with the cursor jumping all over the place in Lightroom 2.6 with my Wacom Intuos 2 tablet on Windows XP. There are a number of problems with Wacom/Lightroom combinations, but none of the solutions seemed to work for me.
In my case, I found that changing the mouse pointer speed (Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options > Motion) changed the "jumpiness" of the mouse cursor, and that selecting "Enhance pointer precision" made Lightroom pretty much unusable.
In my case, it turned out that the latest Wacom driver for Windows XP and the Wacom Intuos 2 was the problem. At this time, that's driver 6.1.3-5. I uninstalled this driver, and then installed the prior driver (6.1.2-5) and everything appears to be working now.
Just thought I'd make a note of this here in case it helps somebody else.
