Problems with Import

Hello!

I am fairly new to Lightroom, but have kinda moved my way around the program, testing different things.

It has worked normally, up until today.. now when I am importing pictures from my computer, all of the images automatically get adjusted to a preset that I have. I can't figure out why, but as soon as I import them.. BANG, they are all black/white, high contrast.. etc.

Does anyone know how I can turn this off? I must've clicked something. I just want the pictures to be in their original format.

Welcome to Lightroom Forums.

In the Import dialog, there is Develop Settings pulldown which allows you to apply a Develop preset. Pull up the Import dialog and see if that's set to something.

If not, you've apparently changed Lightroom's defaults. Go to the Presets tab in Preferences, and press the "Reset all default Develop settings" button.
