Problem with LR 2.5 after upgrade to Mac Snow Leopard

[size=medium]Since I upgraded to Mac Snow Leopard I have experienced a number of operating issues with LR 2.5.On import of images from a card reader a pre-set is applied which adds Brightness 5'+ and Contrast 25+ to all images (at least I don't think these were previously applied). In addition, Black at 5+ is also applied which is normal.How do I reset these two unwanted pre-sets?
Also, all of my Develop User presets have been removed from the User Preset panel. The presets are still in the Adobe LR preset folder so, what is the best way to have them reappear in the Develop User Preset panel?

Lightroom's default import has always put Brightness at 5' and Contrast at 25 and Blacks at 5. You must not of noticed it before. Knowing that, do you still want to change it?

Check to see if you have Presets Stored with Catalog checked in your preferences.

Thanks for pointing out the Default for Import setting, I should have known that.

Yes, the Presets Stored with Catalog is checked in preferences.

Uncheck it and see if your presets reappear.

Yes, they reappeared including those for the custom adjustment brush presets.
