When I have lightroom export an html gallery I seem to be having some issues. Everything works fine when I am still working with it locally but as soon as I put it up on the server I only get the frame of the gallery with no images.

But when I have it generate a simpleviewer gallery everything shows up when I put it up on my site.

Is there something that I am doing wrong in lightroom or is a website issue.

Thanks!

Mike, Welcome. How are you u/l'ing the galleries, via Lr, or a separate FTP client?

How're your web skills in general? Are you able to look at the 1st example and see the gallery structure on the server?

I have tried uploading through lightroom as well as a separate ftp client. I will admit that my web devlopment skills are still a bit lacking but as far as I can tell everything is where it is supposed to be on the server its just not making its way into the gallery.

Then, I'll have to yield the floor to one of our more experienced web gurus. (I can usually fix my own problems, but my knowledge isn't systematic enough to help second-hand.)

Could be that your server is Windows based. They have an issue with anything stored in a folder called bin. They don't allow access to it.

Looking at the file links in the HTML, the images files are simply not available.

Although, now that I look at the source for that first example, it looks like the images are coming up as 4'4 not found errors.

The source calls for:

content/bin/images/thumb/IMG_6588.jpg as one of the thumbnails, but

http://mikemullinax.com/boston2''9/content/bin/images/thumb/IMG_6588.jpg comes up not found.

I'd have a peek thru the source, and make sure those folders are where they're expected to be on the server. Perhaps they're rooted at the wrong level, or .....

Edit: thanks Sean, I didn't know that about the Windows /bin thing.
