Problem Moving Local Copy of Original Images

I am using Lightroom Cloud on a MacBook Pro running iOS 26 Tahoe. My original images are in the cloud. I am though storing a copy of my originals on my laptop but I have run out of space on my hard drive and am looking to move the file to an external SSD drive. When I access preferences in Lightroom though the “reset”button is no longer visible and thus I cannot move the folder that contains copies of my originals to an SSD drive. Any thoughts on what’s going on and how I can fix it? Thanks much.

The ‘Reset’ button is not what you want. There should be a ‘Browse’ button. Clicking on that button allows you to select a (new) location for the originals.

Fair enough; that makes sense. However, neither button is visible and file path of the folder of images on my hard drive is “greyed out.” In the hopes that the program would reset, I deleted the file of copied images on my hard drive (I have back-ups elsewhere) and rebooted the computer. That resulted in no change to the situation; neither the reset, nor browse button is visible.

It took a couple of tries however that seems to have done the trick and copies of my images are currently syncing to my external drive. Thank you for the suggestions and assistance.

Can you post a screen shot of the Cache Tab of the preferences page? I don'/t see any missing buttons.
