Problem - mask selected and switchimg photos

When I forget to unselect a mask and then select a new photo, the image in the loupe doesn't change. The image in the box in the upper left does. If I go into the library it's fine, but when I go back into develop mode the loupe is blank. However, the image in the box in the upper left is fine. The only way I can fix this is to re-boot LR.

LR 11.5, win10, and Nvidia 1070
