Problem Importing

All of a sudden, I am unable to import photos from my camera (Rebel xti) to LR. When I open LR, it takes a long time to recognize the photos, and then it only shows two and then says it failed to import due to the fact that there were no photos. IAny ideas what might be going on?

Hi Erin, welcome to the forum!

Knowing Mac or PC would be an excellent start. It sounds like your computer is dropping the connection to the camera - possibly a dodgy cable or the plug's not in straight? Try copying the files to your hard drive using Explorer/Finder and see if you can then import into LR ok.
