Problem exporting photos to Outlook

I am getting the following error message when trying to export photos to be sent in an Outlook email

An internal error has occurred: Win32 API Error 193 ("(unknown error)") when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute

I have set up a user preset and with the post-export action set to "Do Nothing" everything works perfectly. I have set a shortcut in the "Export Actions" folder to Outlook. If I open windows explorer, go to the Export Actions directory and click on the shortcut Outlook starts correctly. When I set the Post-Processing option to my shortcut and try to export I get the error. As you can see, the error message is some kind of system API error.

If I click OK on the error box I then get an identical message from Lightroom:

The files do get exported, so the error seems to be in Lightroom running Outlook.

The errors are identical whether Outlook is already running or not at the time of the export.

I am running Windows 7 Business edition 64 bit SP1
Outlook 2010 64 bit
Lightroom 3.6 64 bit
12 GB or RAM
Intel 4 Core 8 Processor CPU
500GB of free disk space.

Welcome to the forum. Has this procedure ever worked for you? Lightroom lacks a MAPI mailer that works directly with Outlook. I might offer a different solution that does work and will permit you to attach multiple images to an Outlook Mail Message. Try this plugin and see if you aren't in better dahape?
