Problem creating a new folder

Hello I'm new to this forum and hoping someone can help me with a recent issue. I'm trying to import some photos to Lightroom and I would normally just select to import to Other Destination, then add a new folder, select that folder and all is well. Now when I click the New Folder button in the Choose Destination Folder dialogue box, Lightroom jams up and (Not Responding) appears next to the Choose Destination Folder box title. I have tried this several times with the same result. Has anyone had this issue and offer any assistance? Thanks in advance.

Actually I think I have solved this problem. Appears it was an issue with Windows File Explorer, not Lightroom.
