Hi all, I got some problems after exporting images

What I did is to overwrite old images with new, adjusted images. I did it without any problem. However, after I overwrite old images and restart LR, the software re-do the adjustments on the new images. i.e. Originally I increase the saturation by 1', after overwriting and restarting, the software increase the saturation of the new images by 1' again. It screwed all images in my library, any way to fix it?

You could globally decrease the saturation by 1'.

But overwriting your originals is the problem, and its also not a good thing to do. As you can see, Lightroom gets confused. But furthermore, you always want to save your originals, these are precious photographs that cannot be replaced. Each time you create a .jpg, the quality goes down, so by doing this, the quality of your photograph is now lower.

i replacing the existing photos because I don't want my disk growing large. But you are right, those originals are the most precious ones. I should think for a large HD instead
