Printing Xmas cards, etc

Up to now I have printed xmas cards using Photoshop CS3 and the File/Automate/Batch feature. I have now switched to CS4 and upgraded Lightroom to Ver 2.6.

PS CS4 no longer has the excellent picture layout feature and I thought I could use Lightroom to create the two sides of a card and print on 2-sided paper in turn.

However, Lightroom Print only appears to offer very limited printing formats.

Does anyone else want to print two different images positioned on one side of the paper?

I hope I make myself clear!

I just export my images and use Microsoft Publisher which has a nice 4 sided template layout for the half-fold cards that I prefer.

Many thanks, Brad. However, I've changed the settings as suggested (I had to change to "False" the first "One image per page", as well as the second) and it has made no difference.

I can't drag the image from the film strip onto the template, as soon as the "hand" gets to the Lightroom screen, it changes to the no-go icon!

What am I doing wrong? The offering is just what I require.

I have pursued this problem and whilst I still cannot drag-and-drop, I have created a template OK as described by Enzo and placed the selected images into the template by a) putting them in a Quick Collection, b) creating a virtual copy of those I wish to appear twice on the template page, c) moving them in the Filmstrip into the order they are to appear in the Template, then d) Control/Click each image in turn on the Filmstrip.

They then appear as required in the Template!

After removing the images from the Quick Collection, the virtual copies must be removed from the original Folder, too!

Hmm, I played with this once, and didn't take it any further, because I don't really need it in my work flow.

Glad you got it going. (if I'm reading you correctly.)
