Ever sine I installed Leopard and Lightroom v 1.3.1 on my PowerMac G5, I get an unacceptable magenta cast on every single print. Does anyone have the same problem or, even better, does anyone know of a solution to this problem?
Thanks in advance.

First off try changing your Monitor Profile or re-Calibrate it. Virtually 1''% of the time this is the cause of such a cast for someone just starting out with LR. Lightroom does not cause it. It is just quick to show such because it uses the profile while other apps don't tend to.

Just calibrated monitor! There seems to be no problem there. I should also add that if I use my Epson R38' (a lesser printer!) the cast does not appear. It seems to be there only with the Epson 22''.

Ah, I had not picked up from your post title that cast is on the print, not seen in LR. That is a Leopard - Epson profile problem for which Epson needs to provide an update. Many Threads on this at the Adobe LR User to User Forum.

I called Epson and was told not to expect a driver upgrade. The 22'' is an old model. They want us to buy a new printer. I eventually will, but it will not be an Epson.
Meanwhile, I believe I found a solution to the problem. Strange as it may sound, I turned the Epson Color Management on and selected ColorSync. I am now applying "double color management". It works perfectly. I'm done!

Thank you so much for the timely helpful tip. I am getting ready to upgrade my new iMac to Leopard and then I will install my 22''. I wasn't able to print properly in Windows due to double color management...Isn't it strange it works in Leopard??
