Printing To Epson 3800

Have read where there are problems printing from Lightroom darker colors and color shifts. Have encountered the same problems myself. Thought i had fixed the problem callibrating with Spyder Pro 3 and using different papers properly profiled rather than the canned profiles shipped with 38''.First couple of prints Eureka then discovered that if you use print settings on left hand side of Lightroom it defaults to printer profile Pro 38'' 38''C 385' Standard it prints DARK. If you use Print Settings on right side of Lightroom it shows the Profile in Summary that you have selected and prints more like you see on screen albeit slightly darker. Have set printer to no color management and select paper profile in Lightroom.Have spoken to Epson who say it is a problem with Adobe so your are on your own. Very Liberating.Is anyone else having the same problem.

The settings on the right are LR's print settings. The settings on the left are the Epson Driver settings. Both need to be set correctly to get the correct output. The Epson Driver settings allow you to save a template / preset but this often fails to remember everything I set and I have read elsewhere that this is a common issue (search google)

Thanks Nik,The problem i have is that even though i set the paper profile in right hand side print setting in the Epson print setting on left it constantly defaults to Pro 38'' 38''C 385' Standard.No matter what i do i can't seem to get the paper profile in the left hand print box color sync control to match color profile in print box on right.
