Printing Question

Is there any way to pad a cell or maybe add a stroke that isn't at the edge of the image?

I have some images that are 8.5x11" and I want to float them in an 11x14" area. My paper is 13x19 though. I would like to be able to add a stroke or cropping guides at the 11x14 size. The best that I can figure right now is to make a new document with the appropriate amount of blank space.

LR2/Mogrify will get the job done. You can make the first border white giving a percentage of image width and a tiny black second border 1 pixel...

Thanks for the reply, but I was hoping that there was a way to work this out in the print module.

I think you can set a 11" x 14" cell size with a 8½" x 11" image size in it but I guess that the crop marks will print at image's width and height tough.

If you go into the LR templates in Print, you can select one of the Picture Package templates and you get a Photo Border and an Inner Stroke option under the Image Settings. Delete all but one of the cells, rotate and resize the remaining one to fit the page and save it as your new template.

That's almost it, but not quite.

I guess that by now I've spent more time on finding a workaround than it takes to make a new file and reformat it.
