printing issue?

Hi
Whilst I am a devout fan of LR, I do find printing an issue. My images in LR look "fantastic" particulary once I have finished in the "develop module", however when I priny the photos are dark and lose contrast, any ideas?? As this is driving me nuts.

Is your monitor calibrated with an instrument Dave? Maybe it is set to a too high luminance value? :roll:

Do you print with "Color managed by Printer" or "By Lightroom" taking care of choosing the appropriate color profile for your Printer/Paper combination with "No Color Management" set in your printer driver?
