I am sorry to start a new thread on LR printing bugs but I am having real problems controlling the colours of my prints using the above combination of hardware and software (see also my signature below). Basically the outcome appears to be completely random (and far away from what I see on my calibrated screen) despite endless attempts to play with the available LR and HP print options and different ICC profiles (I use Ilford Galerie Smooth Gloss).
I spent a lot of time searching in both US and French LR fora but so far could find no tips that apply to my particular combination of software/hardware. Yet, I am sure that there should be out there people using the same gear who (perhaps) experienced the same problems and (hopefully) solved them. I would be really grateful if these people could raise their hands and help me.
If such people exist they could perhaps take me step by step through a successful (and replicable) print, a bit like Lyons did for Epson users in a recent article (http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr_13_print/lightroom_print.htm).
