Had to re-install 1'.4.11 on my Powerbook, 1.67 ghz/2 gigs ram this week because of a finder hiccup. Now I get the following message when I go to print

Missing Profile

I've put the profiles for my Epson 22'' in the Colorsync folder in both the user library and the Mac HD library, but it still says the profile is missing or invalid. What did I do wrong?

Have you tried selecting them again in the profile menu in LR?

Geoff, I just tried and they're hiding, no profiles there except display profiles. For some reason the profile for premium luster photo paper shows as selected, but is missing from the folder. My problem is I don't know which folder the profiles need to be in.

Geoff, thanks for your suggestion, I figured it out. User error re: installation.:oops::oops::oops:

Good stuff !! That is usually my solution - user error!!:lol::shock:
Now that the panic is over can you take a moment to complete your signature (UserCP, top left of the page) with relevant information, it helps us help you - thanks.....:D

Done.

Jumped the gun thinking I had the problem solved. No more messages, but the prints are blocked up in the shadows and tinted green, me no likey!

Anyway, since you posted, I reinstalled the paper profiles in the Pbook which uses wifi to print to shared printers that are hooked up to the G4 AGP graphics tower, and reinstalled the profiles on the tower also. Reinstalled the print drivers in both machines, but still no luck. The darks are way dark, but the middle and light tones seem close to normal.

Any other ideas? The annoying thing is I went through the same drill last summer when I lost the HD in the Pbook, but can't recall how I solved the problem last time. Thought reinstalling drivers and profiles in both machines would do it, but it must have been something else.:x
