print to file identity plate overlay does not work

In the print module, the preview shows the identity plate in place in the lower right hand corner of my print, but when I print to Jpeg file, the resulting image has the identity plate missing. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a limitation of LR?
I send my files out to a lab for printing. Is there a better way to get a logo on my prints aside from adding it in PS?

Have a look at Tim Armes' Lr Mogrify. http://www.photographers-toolbox.com/products/lr2mogrify.php
This is a low-cost plug-in, which in combination with the open source ImageMagick package, will add a great deal of capability without leaving Lightroom.

We could probably help you get the internal identity plate working better, but you'll likely still be disappointed. Everyone's hoping for an overhaul there in a future Lr version.
