Quick question:

Has anyone else noticed all their Lightroom print profiles dropping specific ICC profiles and reverting to 'Managed by Printer'? I think it happened following a recent update. Mine did and I've had to go through them all and apply the correct profiles once again.

Longer-winded background:

One of the reasons I really like Lightroom is the power and flexibility of its Print module. You can set up a print (or prints) of a particular size, on a specific printer, using specific paper and an appropriate ICC profile for that paper/printer combination and then save all of these settings in a preset. This can be recalled with a single click of the mouse and speeds up the whole process considerably. All good so far.Back in 2019, I upgraded from Win7 to Win10 and my print presets were changed in exactly the same way - I don't think there was a Lightroom update at the time as I was using Lightroom 6 and avoiding the subscription for Lightroom. Since then, I bit the bullet and started my subscription (mainly due to the improvements in masking Adobe added) and regular updates are now a way of life.

I hope this reset behaviour doesn't happen too often and I'm interested to know if anyone else has suffered with it.

Thanks - it's good to hear that I'm not the only one. Interesting that you've had it happen twice, just like I have. That suggests more strongly that specific updates, perhaps in combination with certain hardware/software, trigger the problem.

I forgot to mention my hardware/software. Windows 11 and Epson SureColor P600.

I gave up configuring my MS Office tool bars because they were reset regularly when updates were applied. I can understand this behaviour to apply to other MS products also.
