Print Module remembers settings....not good!

Here's something I'd love to have Adobe fix in LR3: In LR2(and LR1 for all I remember) the Print module 'remembers' the print settings previously set and used for each file or folder. This often causes my Epson 38'' printer to switch form PK to MK(or vice-versa) ink as soon as I select a different folder while still in the Library module...IF the newly selected folder has a previously printed file in it. Each time the printer makes that ink change, it costs me $$$. Could the nice folks at Adobe PLEASE fix this so the Print module settings stay LOCKED, regardless of which folder or file I select to work on, UNTIL I DECIDE TO CHANGE the Print module settings myself. ??? Pluton, there's a link to Adobe's official Feature Request at the top of the thread. That's your best bet for getting attention to your issue.

I have to say, though, that some people consider your bug to be a desirable feature. In that they can establish print folders or collections, and then 'set and forget' their printer configuration for specific jobs. If that's not optimal for your workflow, then by all means, speak up and file the Feature Request.
