Long time Lightroom user. Lightroom Classic 11.4.1 and Windows 10.
Recently I noticed that my C drive suddenly gained about 100 GB of free space. Looking at back ups I tracked it to my previews folders, and it happened about 2 weeks ago all at once..
I have 3 catalogs, 1 for my paid work, 1 for family photos, and 1 for personal projects. All 3 catalogs are set to delete 1 to 1 previews after 30 days. But in my experience, the preview folders never get smaller, they only continue to grow. 1 preview folder dropped from 24 GB to 15 GB, another from 104 GB to 47 GB, and another from 63 GB to 30 GB. As I said, it all happened at the same time about 2 weeks ago. Lightroom is installed on my C drive and all photos are on external drives. Everything seems to be working as normal. But I find it strange this would happen. This might have happened about the time I did the last update, not sure. Anyone have any thoughts on why this would happen?
