Presets w/ selective adjustment

Try this:

Using the selective adjustment tool, paint a photo red.

Then try to make a preset out of the change.

When making the preset, "select none" of th check boxes... then go back and try to figure out which of the presets options controls the change. I cant figure it out which one controls it.

There may be a hidden switch yet to throw, but think about it a second - when are you likely to make a preset out of something you've PAINTED. It would need applying in a different position every time.

yeah I know... but it would be nice to have the option.

Photographers (me included) hate being told what they can and cant do with a program.

I think thats why PS has taken the world over.

But perhaps LR 2.' will have a major impact on the future of image editing.
