Presets - Mine aren't working anymore

OK, so back with Lightroom 1.4 my presets were all saved in ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/. After upgrading to Lightroom 2, that was still the case...until this morning.

All of a sudden, my presets no longer work in Lightroom. In fact, there are presets available, but they are ones in ~/Pictures/Lightroom/Lightroom Settings/ . (Note: ~/Pictures/Lightroom/ is where my catalog file resides.)

If I put my presets from ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/ INTO ~/Pictures/Lightroom/Lightroom Settings/ then they work.

So what the heck is going on?

The only thing that I can think that I changed recently...and I don't remember if this coincides with the problem or not...is that I changed Lightroom to open my specific catalog on loading as opposed to the last catalog opened.

Please help.

Did you also 'Store Presets with Catalog'?

Aha!

I must have made 2 changes--that was one of them. I guess I must have figured that that would just export the presets when I exported a catalog. I realize now what it does--stores the settings on a per-catalog basis and not per-user.
