Sadly presets in QD have no organisation so to save scrolling down to repeat a hard to find preset - a request here for the last used preset to appear at the top ( like in filters in CS3) i.e. under 'deafult settings'

have it on my desk by the morning, thankyou:cheesy:

Nice idea. That QD develop presets list is getting pretty long on my system.

For now, if you've only applied a preset and moved on, is the menu option Photo > Develop Settings > Paste Settings from Previous any good to you, using the keyboard shortcut for it?

yup I guess that'd do for the time being - just seemd like an obvious idea toug having the last one at the tp, thought I'd mention it;-)

Yep, nice idea.

In the meantime, there is a way of adding SOME level of organization to that list. Name each of your presets with a letter according to its set, and they will be easier to find.

For example:

a - auto colour
a - auto bw
bw - black and white 1
bw - black and white 2
c - customer 1
c - customer 2
c - customer 3
se - special effect 1
sp - sepia 1
sp - sepia 2
tc - tone curve 1
tc - high contrast tone curve

I don't think that I would want things moving around in the list. If they aren't in the same place then it would be harder to find the next time you need it(if it's not immediate). A menu item to apply the last preset would be OK.

The problem with Paste Settings from Previous is that it applies every setting to the new file. If you only want to apply a tone curve preset or something like that, then it might screw you up.

I wouldn't suggest them all moving any more than the Filters in Photoshop move, just that the last one has an extra place holder at top

I'd rather just see them placed by folder as I've imported them...and branch off accordingly instead of looking like my Christmas never-gonna-get list.
