Preset questions

1. How do I make a preset that includes 2 built-in presets (Sharpen-Landscapes and General-Punch)?

2. What presets do others typically run on their landscape images? I know that this has been discussed before and I will do a search for this as well!

First you need to know which settings are altered by each of the presets you want to include. Next apply both presets to a "fresh" image and create a new preset with the settings selected from the built-in presets.

As Kees says, it's possible there may be confilicts between the two, 'dueling-presets'.

On a fresh/reset image, try one, and note the slider changes. Reset and try the other, and again note the slider changes. In the event both presets have differing settings for a particular slider, decide which you prefer, and apply it second in Kees' scenario above. If multiple conflicts, you'll just have to take notes, and dial them in yourself.

If you have some computer chops, there's no real mystery. You can take a peek at the preset files with any text editor, and discern the adjustments they're making by inspection. Immediate access to this info from the Lr UI is a much requested feature.
